Who has ascended into heaven and descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name or His son's name? Surely you know! Proverbs 30:4

I can't believe we have now less than one week until CHRISTmas day.
I have two sons that are not saved and love to contradict me when I speak of spiritual things.
The other day I read this verse of scripture and again found it very uplifting and it made me realise once again that God in His mercy foretold the coming of His Son hundreds of years before His actual birth. the picture below says it so well

I asked my sons  what they thought about this verse of scripture and if they knew what it meant, I got a blank expression as they just didn't see it I of course went onto explain that it was a prophecy  from God hundreds of years before it actually happened, that He would send His Son and that He would be born into this world, still they didn't see it.

I went on then to give them the verse from

Isaiah 7:14

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.(God with us)

Still they never saw it! isn't that so sad!

If anyone is reading this Blog sometime over the Christmas holidays and cannot see the meaning of these verses of scripture either...please re-think your life and where you will spend Eternity, because this child that was born lived to die for you and me..on the cross at Calvary, to take away our sins so that we might be reconciled back to Him (God) because the Man Christ Jesus became God in flesh and shed His blood for you.

This Christmas as we give to others Christmas gifts give God the biggest gift of all that you can give Him, not a church visit, or a grace before a meal, or a visit to a carol service....give Him your heart, your life, your all so that you can spend eternity with Him.

I pray someday my sons will come to realise that Christ came to this earth and bled and died to save them from their sins.....please pray for them!

A resolution passed by European Union foreign ministers Tuesday to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of both Israel and a future Palestinian state "ignores the primary obstacle to achieving a resolution between Israel and the Palestinians," according to a Foreign Ministry statement released after the vote.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claims the United States is attempting to thwart the return of mankind's savior, according to reports from Al Arabiya, a television news station based in Dubai.




Ahmadinejad reportedly claims he has documented evidence that the U.S. is blocking the return of Mahdi, the Imam believed by Muslims to be the savior.



“We have documented proof that they believe that a descendant of the prophet of Islam will raise in these parts and he will dry the roots of all injustice in the world,” Ahmadinejad said during a speech on Monday, according to Al Arabiya.



"They have devised all these plans to prevent the coming of the Hidden Imam because they know that the Iranian nation is the one that will prepare the grounds for his coming and will be the supporters of his rule," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying.

 The European Security and Defense Assembly (ESDA) on Wednesday asked the European Union to “continue giving priority” to efforts to “achieve the settlement of the central Israeli-Palestinian conflict without making this contingent upon a solution to the Iranian nuclear issue”.

Mrs. Josette Durrieu (France, Socialist Group) denounced the “deadlock” in the peace process between Israel and Palestine and in particular deplored the fact that President Obama had not succeeded in “driving the situation forward”. “The current status quo serves the interests of Israel and Hamas” she added, denouncing “Israel’s obstinacy and self-destructive approach”.
“Israel has a sacred right to a state and security”, but “we must say no to settlements, no to the wall, no to closing off Jerusalem, no to the occupation of the West Bank and no to the Gaza blockade”. She deplored the fact that the EU had clearly made “very little political impact on the conflict”, while the financial commitment of the 27 was “huge”.
